An elegant bespoke wedding dress at Fennes Manor House – a modern bride’s dream brought to life through a truly collaborative journey, where personal style met couture craftsmanship in the most breathtaking way. From the first fitting to the final flourish of hand-placedstones and pearls, this gown was designed to honour tradition, embrace individuality, and capture the magic of a wedding day set in one of England’s most romantic manor house venues.
Patrice was first introduced by a luxury wedding planner as her unique vision of the wedding dress she wanted was bold, luxurious, and unapologetically glamorous. Her dream, to Design her own wedding dress to complement the opulence of Fennes Manor whilst reflecting her personal style: confident, radiant, and unforgettable.
Together, we began the exciting journey of creating a bespoke, jewelled statement gown with daring cut-out panels designed to shimmer with every step, capturing the light, the love, and the luxury of her wedding day. Every bead, every contour, and every curve of the dress was thoughtfully crafted to turn her dream into reality.

The Venue – Fennes Manor House:
.
An Elegant British Stately Manor House, Fennes Manor is majestic yet, not overly formal, stuffy or, uninviting. It makes the perfect setting for the modern bride and couples looking for a bit of history as a back drop but with the ability to look both modern and inviting for modern wedding aesthetics. The Fennes Manor Estate is a Georgian Mansion with intimacy and grandeur in equal measure amidst 100 acres of peaceful and private parkland grounds. With impressive high ceilings, the venue provides a sense of it’s majestic history and, which makes it the perfect setting for a modern romantic fairytale setting.

Design Journey: From Dream to Dress.
Patrice was not playing when she stated she wanted glamour, sophistication and opulence all in the same dress as she had no plans to wear a second bridal gown for the evening. In fairness, she wanted to enjoy and extend the moment of wearing her unique dream wedding dress – a dress she had had creative freedom over from conception to the finished dress – from the moment she arrived until the party ended.
Key to the design story, was consideration of the venue style and the choice of materials that would seamlessly emerge as an Elegant Bespoke Wedding Dress at Fennes Manor House.
Encrusted with pearls, crystals and seed beads, this was ‘Red Carpet Wedding Dress‘. On completion, the gown weight around 5-10kg and was exhausting even transporting it across the workroom. But, despite its weight, the weight of a heavily beaded wedding gown, should never be an issue IF, the dress is perfectly fitted – as the body fills the available space so securely that the weight becomes un-noticeable to the bride. One of the key take-aways from making this bridal gown, and also from 40 years of working with brides and designing Hand-Crafted wedding dresses, is that Petite brides have the biggest dreams; and this little lady was no exception – cool and laidback on the outside but with a full committment to leave a lasting statement. The dress was designed to feature cut-out middriff panels whilst maintaining the structure and support of a full corset. This alone took a few fittings to perfect and then, as though we hadnt enough on our plates, the bride insisted on deepening the front neckline so low that we all suffeed sleepless night trying to figure out ‘HOW’ to ensure the gown did not slip and stayed up all day! To date, this gown was created during late 2015 and the couple tied the knot April 30th 2016. Ten years on, Patrice and Davids ultra cool wedding still takes pride of place for its timeless appeal.

THE OM BRIDAL TEAM, founded and run by designer Designer Cynthia Grafton-Holt, a highly respected British Couture wedding dress designer. The bridal studio is located in North London close to the North Acton Central line Station.
The wedding gowns in the atelier are all handmade and crafted in London with Cynthia personally overseeing every aspect of the appointment from concept to completion.
