Winter Wedding Ideas

Taking part in this Nordic Inspired Winter wedding photo shoot was no accident as I don’t believe things happen by chance. Neither had I planned to share this shoot so soon as it is officially springtime and most blogs and bridal magazines are already working on summer wedding articles. But… whilst the wet and rain continues to pound on my studio window pane… I cannot help but think of we (UK dwellers) have to plan for all weathers (what ever the season) given the dark clouds of the British weather system and, are probably among the best in the world at taking a blank canvas and turning it into pure joy!

So how did we get to work with Beth Allen Weddings?

I think I came across Beth Allen online and just rung her up. She seemed really down to earth, willing to work with someone one new – as that is not always the case with so many businesses in this sector right now. Beth was really keen to see what we could offer and shared with me her vision for the shoot. She wanted to feature alternative bridal cover ups and I nervously thought perhaps our little fur jacket might not get used at all…but, Beth was able to feature it and rather pleasantly it looks really cute when teamed up with the lushness of the wild berry flower crown.

I had already seen the photographers (Angela Ward Brown) work online previously and just loved her razor ability to bring out the life within a colour. I didn’t know at the time who was going to shoot, so when I saw the first images begin to pop up on Instagram, I thought WowWWWW.
